Because of the tropical climate of much of Thailand, fruits are varied and plentiful.

เนื่องด้วยอากาศเขตร้อนของประเทศไทย ผลไม้จึงมีมากมายหลากหลาย

 

The first time I went to Thailand I had never even heard of durian, jackfruit or mangosteen.

ครั้งแรกที่ผมมาที่ไทย ผมไม่เคยได้ยินชื่อ ทุเรียน ขนุน หรือมังคุดมากก่อน

 

Now these are some of my favorite fruits, and I look for them whenever I am in a tropical region of the world.

If you haven’t been to the USA, where I come from, there maybe some delicious fruits that you haven’t heard of either.
